Dinner with kids

I had dinner with my kids tonight.  It was great fun!  I miss having them around all the time but I do honestly understand their feelings with all that is going on in life.  I just really miss them!

I had a bit of a lupus flare recently.  My lips blew up again…Angelina Jolie time!  And I got some sores on my face.  It’s not nearly as bad as the last time..but still not fun.  The worst part is that I tripped over my own foot going to the bathroom the other night.  Now my foot is all swollen and bruised and I feel like a clutz!  Guess I am either getting old or more clumsy with age.  It’s so hot here in Phx and it makes everything so much harder.  My emotions seem to be more up and down during the hot months and my headaches come more frequently as well.  Not fun.  I would love to live some where cool and peaceful…but I have kids here…so, until they are grown and have lives of their own the heat is where I stay.  I’m sure those of you with lupus know what I am talking about.

So, my kids are going on vacation with their dad and I get the pleasure of watching my daughter’s dog…who really enjoys humping anything that moves which includes my dog.  It can be sort of comical…but I have to put a stop to it before someone gets hurt!  I hope they have a great time and get some relaxation before school starts again.

I could use a vacation!
